Laundrette, - Lina's, 223 Cricklewood Broadway, London NW2. I would give this laundrette no stars as it is dirty and the service personnel just had a huge argument with me. If he had told me that he wanted to close before 8pm (which is the advertised time) instead of just telling me that they close 'soon' when I arrived at 7pm wanting to use the driers for 20 mins, then I would have aimed to get out well before the 7.50pm/7.55pm when I DID eventually leave after our argument. I do understand that they work extremely long days, but this is no excuse to tell people that they've been "playing around for 20 minutes" and wasting time, have a bad attitude, and shouldn't go their again! I admit I ate a sandwich as I was feeling quite week, was closely examining my clothes, moving items from one bag to another to make them easier to carry and seeing if anything was left in the driers. I was checking the time so that I didn't go over the 8pm deadline and wouldn't have had the sandwich if I had known that he wanted me out asap!! And if any of the above is playing, then I'm sorry, cause it isn't in my eyes!!! I obviously don't want to stay there all night myself so I don't understand this line of argument. When I used the place back in 2011 I spent loads of money as I had a problem in my flat which meant I needed to wash lots of my clothes very quickly and also dry clean many of them as well. The young man working there at the time was very helpful and I even bought him a present because I was so grateful for his assistance. I think I spent near on £200 cleaning things back then. I recently had the same problem and would have spent a lot there again, but now they won't have the benefit of my money, but rather will have a complaint lodged and a bad review instead!!
